Yesterday was quite an exciting day for current World of Warcraft subscribers. During Blizzcon 2013, Blizzard spilled the beans about the upcoming WoW expansion, Warlords of Draenor. From what we've seen so far, players can expect to go toe-to-toe against the might of the old-horde army in the unforgiving land of Draenor. You will be tested against legendary orcs, Blackhand, Grommash Hellscream, and Ner'zhul - in a struggle to defend the sanctity of Azeroth.
This expansion will raise the level cap to 100, and give purchasers one free character boost to level 90, allowing them to start the content with a non-existing toon. Other new features include a customizable garrison system, new PvP zones, hundreds of quests, and the long awaited update to character models.I'll have to admit, this one is making me want to return to Azeroth.
Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think. We'll see you on the battlefield.
Blizzard also let Diablo III fans know that they weren't ready to hangup the towel on the most recent installment of their acclaimed franchise. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, promises to revive the troubled dungeon-crawler, infusing it with new life.
In addition to the normal campaign mode, players can now opt to enter "adventure" mode giving them access to all waypoints throughout the acts of the game. In addition, randomly generated bounties give the player an extra incentive to go back and explore some of the existing content more thoroughly. Bounties will reward increased experience points and gold, as well as the chance for some legendary weapon drops. This content also introduces a new character, the crusader - as well as the ability to enchant and transmogrify your existing gear. That's not all. Nephalem Rifts make loot grinding more exciting with randomly generated environments, and monsters inside dungeons that can be potentially ten levels deep. Last but not least, the level-cap will be raised - and additional skills added with an updated paragon system.
Get ready to crawl back to the dungeon in 2014!
